I cleaned out a couple of drawers in my dresser this morning and came across this....written by Will in 5th grade....probably for Mother's Day, although it's not dated. Very insightful of him, I must say....because it sure never seemed like he was listening. He gets me.

meleen
What a sweet note. Great kid!
ReplyDeleteThis is just adorable. Did you ever get that day off to clean you were wishing for? :)
ReplyDeleteo gosh. I need kleenex too. He is amazing.
ReplyDeleteOkay, remember the 20 minute crying session in the front yard of my chilhood home? Okay, this is worse/better. How long has it taken your "normal" reader to stop crying after this? This is unbelievably sweet, the sweetest thing I think I've ever seen! I don't want to hear another thing about three dots; this child has an amazing mom. Having an intact family and a good man for a dad doesn't hurt either. A++++++
ReplyDeleteOh, and the fact that he kept your most important secret, that you dream of a day of cleaning, priceless. He's a man who can be trusted.
