I remember just how proud and moved I was at my parent's 50th anniversary...I don't think I've ever been prouder of anyone more; it meant the world to me and I know it was not easy. I called my mom last night to wish her a Happy Valentine's Day and she said they were eating in. She said that way they don't have to try to talk to each other :). It appears that after being married for 40 years, you simply run out of things to say. Or at least the men do, I guess.
